SEBM TiAl (4822) powder for aerospace powder metallurgy. Titanium is a very attractive material in the medical industry because of its high strength and corrosion resistance, as well as its biocompatibility, which makes it ideal for orthopedic and dental implants.
TiAl is a new class of aerospace alloys that offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio as well as high chemical and thermal stability. Gamma titanium aluminide alloy has excellent mechanical properties as well as oxidation and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures (over 600 degrees Celsius). TiAl is the latest class of materials competing with Nickel superalloys for the fabrication of aircraft engine parts such as low-pressure turbine.
Titanium alloy powder is prepared by high-purity argon atomization and plasma rotating electrode atomization processes. The products include titanium alloys, Ti-Al alloys, Ti2AlNb, Ti-Ta alloys, Ti-Nb(-Zr) alloys, niobium alloys, tantalum alloy, etc. The powder has low oxygen content, high sphericity, good fluidity and stable performance, which can well meet the different needs of electron beam powder coating 3D printing, laser powder coating 3D printing, laser coaxial powder feeding 3D printing and other processes.
It has good process plasticity and super plasticity, excellent comprehensive mechanical properties. Through additive manufacturing, laser selective melting the melting method is used to form dental removable partial denture titanium alloy movable brackets and clasps.
Titanium alloy materials are also used in aerospace, consumer electronics, implants and other fields. For example, they are used to manufacture aircraft structural parts, engine parts, aerospace equipment and spacecraft components, high-end mobile phone parts, casings, structural parts and connectors for notebook computers and other electronic equipment, artificial joints, dental implants, and bone plates. and bone screws, etc. Fully utilize the advantages of titanium metal materials in high strength, light weight, corrosion resistance and biocompatibility.
