Performance
Applications:
Dipentene Used as a raw material for synthetic rubber and perfume, also used as a solvent;
used as enamel, lacquer and various oleoresins, resin waxes, metal drier and solvent.
Dipentene Used in the manufacture of synthetic resin synthetic rubber; used to blend orange blossom essence, citrus oil flavour, etc.; can also be made into a substitute for lemon essential oil.
Dipentene is oxidized to form carvone; in the presence of a mineral acid, limonene is reacted with water to form α-terpineol and hydrated decanediol; hydrogenation is carried out under the action of platinum or a Color catalyst to form a paraffin, and dehydrogenation is formed into an umbrella.
Flower hydrocarbons.
Dipentene Also used as oil dispersants, rubber additives, wetting agents, and the like. Used as a solvent, also used in perfume synthesis and pesticide production.
