The boron concentrate supplied by Nanochemazone is mainly boron-based. The preparation of boron concentrates usually involves the removal of water from boron solutions. Nanochemazone specializes in the production of high purity boron concentrates with the smallest possible average grain size for the preparation of pressed and bonded sputtering targets, as well as chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and physical vapor deposition (PVD) processes including thermal and electron beam (E-Beam) evaporation, low temperature organic evaporation, atomic layer deposition (ALD), chemical deposition (PVD), and chemical deposition (PVD). Concentrates are also useful in any application that requires a high surface area, such as water treatment, fuel cells and solar energy applications. Nanoparticles can also produce very high surface areas. Our standard concentrated particle sizes average -325 mesh, -100 mesh, 10-50 micron and submicron (< 1 micron). We can also provide many nanoscale materials. Nanochemazone produces a number of standard grades where applicable, including the Mil Spec (military grade); ACS, reagents and technical grades; Food, agriculture and pharmaceutical grades; Optical grades, USP and EP/BP (European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia), and follow applicable ASTM test standards. Typical and custom packaging is available. Other shapes are available upon request. Boron concentrate facilitates transportation because it reduces weight and volume. The solution can be reproduced by adding solvents as it is used.

Applications of Boron Concentrate
Amorphous boron is used as a rocket fuel igniter and in pyrotechnic flares. It gives the flares a distinctive green colour. The most important compounds of boron are boric (or boracic) acid, borax (sodium borate) and boric oxide. These can be found in eye drops, mild antiseptics, washing powders and tile glazes.

Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
