Product Information
Tantalum is a chemical element with the symbol Ta and atomic number 73. Previously known as tantalum, Tantalum is a very hard, ductile, lustrous, blue-gray transition metal that is highly corrosion-resistant.
Tantalum Foam (Ta Foam) is a porous 3-dimensional structure made of tantalum. Due to the nontoxic, biocompatible, good corrosion resistance, and high thermal conductive properties, Tantalum Foam is often used as one of the porous materials used in clinical study. Metal tantalum features non-toxicity, high corrosion resistance, and good Oste inductive effects, so it is considered as an ideal biomedical metal material.
Tantalum Heat Exchangers are generally immediately available in most volumes, including bulk quantities. Nanochemazone can produce materials to custom specifications by request, in addition to custom compositions for commercial and research applications and new proprietary technologies. Standard Packing:
Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1-ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
