Niobium Boride Powder also called Niobium Diboride, which has the characteristics of high melting point, high hardness, good electrical and thermal conductivity, resistance to molten metal corrosion, and superconductivity. It is used in ceramic materials, electrode materials, thin-film materials, and refractory materials.

Niobium Boride powder, NbB2, is a highly covalent refractory ceramic material with a hexagonal crystal structure. It is an ultra-high temperature ceramic (UHTC) with a melting point of 3050°C. Coupled with the relatively low density of ~6.97 g/cm3 and good high-temperature strength, this makes it a candidate for high-temperature aerospace applications, such as hypersonic flight or rocket propulsion systems.

Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
