Stability:

Decomposing temperature is greater than 100℃. It will be decomposed in any acid. The polymerization occurs when contacted with acidic material or impurities containing active hydrogen. The copolymerization and cross-linking can be also taken place when contacted with the compounds containing two or more than two active hydrogen.

Application:

MT-4 has been used as the cross-linking agent and bonding agent to increase the elongation and improve low-temperature mechanical properties in AP/HTPB composite solid propellant. MT-4 is the chemical modified product of MAPO.
