Magnesium Ingot Description
Magnesium is the third-most-commonly-used structural metal, following iron and aluminium. The main applications of magnesium are aluminium alloys, magnesium alloys, removing sulfur in the production of iron and steel, and metal reduction, corrosion protection and other fields.
There are two principal routes for producing magnesium. First, an electrolytic route in which liquid magnesium is won from magnesium chloride. The source of magnesium can be from sea water, brine, dolomite, magnesite, and carnallite. The other process involves reduction of magnesium ores by a reactant.
Clean energy – the power supplied in the production process is local hydropower, photovoltaic and wind power.
Zero emission – almost no carbon dioxide emission in the production process.

MAGNESIU ALLOY INGOT
AM50/AM60-exceptional elongation, tensile strength and energy absorption properties, good castability makes them highly versatile in application.
AZ91-suited to pressure casting, gravity die-casting and sand casting.
AZ31-extrusion Alloy, most widely used magnesium extrusion alloy.
ZK60-wrought alloy, magnesium ZK60A alloy is a heat treatable magnesium alloy, most widely used magnesium wrought alloy.
WE43/WE54/WE94-WE series magnesium alloys are magnesium based with Gadolinium, Yttrium, Zinc and Zirconium. All those are high strength casting alloys which can be used in temperatures of up to 300°C.
The alloys have good mechanical properties coupled with excellent corrosion resistance.
Weight: (6.5/ 7.5 ± 0.5)kg/ingot.
Size: (50-55)cmx(11.5-13.5)cm×(7-7.5)cm/ingot.
Packing: 500 kg or 1,000 kg wooden pallet or magnesium pallet or according to customer’s requirement.
MAGNESIUM BILLET AND SLAB
Magnesium alloy casting billet or slab is usually used for forging, extruding or CNN machining magnesium metal parts.
