Iridium Acetylacetonate (CAS: 15635-87-7) is a kind of orange powder, which is used as a catalyst for hydrogenation of sulfur-containing aromatics. It is a strong photoreducing agent for phenylpyridine aqueous solution. It has also been widely used as the base material for the engines of missiles, rockets, cruisers, automobiles, etc.
