IN738 is a nickel-based precipitation-hardening equiaxial crystal casting high-temperature alloy, one of the best alloys in terms of resistance to thermal corrosion, with a service temperature of less than 900°C. It contains a high element of chromium and contains elements of tantalum and niobium. The alloy has excellent resistance to thermal corrosion, a medium level of high temperature strength and good organisational stability.
