Applications:
OAB is amphoteric surfactant and can be used as thickener, conditioner, wetting agent, antibacterial agent, antistatic agent, etc.
OAB can also be used in oil and gas fields as self-turning acid main agent, thickener, viscoelastic surfactant, oil displacement agent.
OAB has good salt resistance and can be used as acidizing steering agent.
As the PH of the system decreases, the viscosity of the system increases rapidly, and viscoelastic solutions or gels of different strengths can be formed to be used as the main agent for cleaning fracturing fluids, self-turning acids, viscoelastic surfactants (VES).When OAB is combined with anionic surfactant, it has more obvious thickening effect than CAB and other alkyl betaine.
OAB has high surface/interfacial activity, temperature resistance and hard water resistance.
Under strong acidic conditions, the viscosity of the solution can increase sharply, and it can be used for thickening acidizing fluid in different occasions.
