Product Information

Ferric boron is a magnetic binary iron alloy, boron content is usually 17.5-20%, used as an alloying agent in steel to improve thermal workability, hardenability, creep resistance and neutron absorption. Nanochemazone is available in powder, particle, block, rod and foil form. A range of grades are available, including Mil Spec(Military grade), ACS, Reagent and Technical grade, Food, Agricultural and Pharmaceutical grade, Optical grade, USP and EP/BP(European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia). In addition to customizing combinations for commercial and research applications as well as new proprietary technologies, we can also produce materials to custom specifications on request. Typical and customized packaging is available as is additional research, technical and safety (MSDS) data.

Nanochemazone is a professional supplier of iron boride, and we also manufacture plates, balls, ingots, balls, flakes, powders, rods, wires, sputtering targets, and many other forms and custom shapes. Other shapes are available upon request.

Packing of Ferro Boron

Standard Packing:

Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L)s quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
