Applications:

Ethyl ferrocene has been used as the precursor to synthesize the ferrocene derivatives, which are used as the burning-rate catalyst in AP-based composite solid propellants. It can be also used as the additive of civil liquid fuel to enhance combustion efficiency. In addition, ethyl ferrocene has been use to develop the light-sensitive GEMs electrode by means of screen-printing manufacturing technique.
