Silver nanowires have high specific surface area, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and other properties:
- Surface Plasmon Effect: Surface Plasmons (SPs) refer to electron-dense waves that propagate along the metal surface due to the interaction of free-vibrating electrons and photons present on the metal surface.
- Silver is a good conductor of electricity, its resistivity is low, and its conductivity is high. The application of nano-silver wire to the conductive layer leads to the collected current, which can reduce energy loss compared with TCO semiconductor.
- If nano silver wires with a particle diameter smaller than the incident wavelength of visible light are used, the silver wires can be arranged very densely, and this technique can increase the current collecting area of the silver electrodes of the solar cells. And does not block the transmission of light, but also utilizes the characteristics of diffraction of light to fully absorb light energy.
Application of Silver Nanowire:
1.Optical application
It can be used as an optical limiter in solar energy (crystalline silicon, a sheet on PET or glass), and can have a surface enhancement spectrum in medical imaging.
- Conductive application
It can be used as a conductive paste for high-brightness LEDs, and can also be applied to touch screens, computer boards, liquid crystal displays, and sensors
3.Chemical and thermodynamic applications
It can be used in catalysts, sensors, chemical vapor sensors, conductive pastes, pastes and polymers.
