English name: Hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride

Performance and application

CTAC is a cationic surfactant. It is easily soluble in isopropanol, soluble in water, and generates a lot of foam during shock. It has excellent penetration, softening, emulsification, antistatic, biodegradability and sterilization functions.

1. CTAC is compatible with zwitterionic, non-ionic surfactants and cationic polymers, but not compatible with anionic surfactants.

1. CTAC is mainly used for textile softener, hair conditioner cosmetic emulsification conditioning, levelling agent, antistatic agent, water quality bactericide, clothing disinfectant; can also be used for asphalt emulsification and waterproof coating emulsification, glass fibre softening processing and Oilfield additives, etc.
