Product Information

Bismuth is a chemical element with the symbol Bi and atomic number 83. It is a post-transition metal and one of the tobacco-causing compounds, chemically similar to its lighter Group 15 brothers arsenic and antimony. The element bismuth occurs naturally, and its sulfide and oxide forms are important commercial ores. The density of this free element is 86% that of lead. It is a fragile metal that is silvery white when freshly produced. Surface oxidation usually gives a rosy color to a metal sample. Due to the interference of the film, further oxidation at high temperatures can give the bismuth a vivid iridescent appearance. Bismuth is the most diamagnetic element and one of the metals known to have the lowest thermal conductivity.

Hafnium-bismuth is one of the many metal alloys sold by Nanochemazone. Standard hafnium-bismuth components include HfBi and HfBi2; Others are available upon request. Nanochemazone alloy products are available in a variety of forms, such as powder, rod, ingot, strip, line, sheet, sputter target, foil, and custom shapes of standard and customer-specified elements. Our engineers can provide guidance on the selection of alloys according to the intended application. Please request a quote above to receive pricing information according to your specifications.

Nanochemazone is a specialized supplier of hafnium bismuth alloys, and we also manufacture discs, balls, ingots, balls, flakes, powders, rods, wires, sputtering targets, and many other forms and custom shapes. Other shapes are available upon request.
