Description:

Titanium diboride has a hexagonal structure. Its appearance is gray crystal or powder. It has good conductivity and mobility, high-temperature resistance, low resistance, corrosion resistance, good high-temperature oxidation resistance, good thermal shock resistance, and so on. It can keep a high strength at normal and high temperatures.

Application:

Zirconium diboride has been used as the additives in anti-oxidation composite materials and refractory materials, especially corrosion resistance of melten metals at high temperature, high-temperature electric resistance, and special coatings with the characteristics of anti-oxidation, high-temperature, and corrosion resistance. It can be used in composite ceramic materials, high-temperature resistant composite materials in aerospace and astronautics, thermal thermocouple protective tubes, the electrode materials of electrolytic melting compounds, and engineering ceramic parts. In addition, it can also be used in cutting materials, wear-resistant materials and corrosion-resistant chemical equipment, due to its high hardness and corrosion resistance at normal and high temperatures.
