Product Information
Tungsten was used extensively for the filaments of old-style incandescent light bulbs, but these have been phased out in many countries. This is because they are not very energy efficient; they produce much more heat than light. Tungsten has the highest melting point of all metals and is alloyed with other metals to strengthen them. Tungsten and its alloys are used in many high-temperature applications, such as arc-welding electrodes and heating elements in high-temperature furnaces.
Two-dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have attracted increasing attention owing to their diverse properties ranging from insulator to metal and promising for a wide range of applications. TMDs and their 2D van der Waals heterostructures have been proposed and demonstrated in various applications, such as electronics, optoelectronics, photonics and photovoltaics.
Among TMDs, Tungsten Di selenide (WSe2) is regarded as one of the most important species in the TMDs family. While most TMDs show n-type characteristic transport behavior in field-effect transistors (FETs), monolayer WSe2 exhibits p-type characteristic behavior. Moreover, it shows a high quantum yield (1.6×10-1) in photoluminescence (PL), a high absorption coefficient in the visible to infrared range, and the valley-dependent optical Stark effect. These characteristics make monolayer WSe2 appealing for a wide variety of potential applications including digital electronics, optoelectronics, and valleytronics. Nanochemazone is a professional supplier of Tungsten Disilicide CVD Film (WSe2), We also produce disc, granules, ingot, pellets, pieces, powder, rod, wire, sputtering target and in numerous other forms and custom shapes. Other shapes are available by request.
Packing of Tungsten Diselenide CVD Film (WSe2)
Standard Packing:
Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
Nanochemazone Tungsten Diselenide CVD Film (WSe2) is carefully handled to minimize damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our products in their original condition.
Tungsten Diselenide CVD Film (WSe2) is generally immediately available in most volumes. Nanochemazone produces many standard grades when applicable, including Mil Spec (military grade); ACS, Reagent and Technical Grade; Food, Agricultural, and Pharmaceutical Grade; Optical Grade, USP and EP/BP (European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia) and follows applicable ASTM testing standards. Typical and custom packaging is available. Additional technical, research, and safety (MSDS) information are available, as is a Reference Calculator for converting relevant units of measurement.
