Bismuth oxide is light yellow powder, orange when heated, reddish-brown when heated, and still light yellow after cooling. Insoluble in water and alkali, soluble in acid to form bismuth salt, which can be reduced by C and CH4. Its melting point is 824℃, and its boiling point is 1890℃. Bismuth oxide usually exists in alpha, beta, gamma and delta crystal forms. Among them, α-Bi2O3 is monoclinic, β-Bi2O3 is tetragonal, and both γ-Bi2O3 and δ-Bi2O3 are cubic.Each crystal form of bismuth oxide has its special structure and properties, and the density of bismuth oxide varies with the crystal form

Application:
Bi203 has a wide range of uses.
